KTG to Age 13 Childcare

The Bardstown Child Care Program (BCCP) is a wrap-around child-care program operated by Bardstown City Schools. We offer child-care for school-aged children Kindergarten up to age 13 after school and on all non-school days (including most snow days) in a safe, educational environment at a convenient, on-campus site. In addition to providing adult supervision for your children, our trained staff will also provide a variety of age-appropriate activities and free choice of play, homework help and relaxation opportunities. Some of our activities include arts and crafts, music, cooking, group games, computer time, gym/playground/track, reading, dramatic play, etc. Our intersession and summer break schedules include many fun and interesting field trips such as swimming, roller and ice skating, movies, bowling, horseback riding, the zoo, and many more fun places.

Days and Hours of Operation

52 weeks a year Monday – Friday
After School 2:30 – 6:00 p.m.
All Non-School Days 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (including most snow days)

Closed on these holidays only:

New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4^th of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day ( we are also closed the Friday after Thanksgiving),
Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.

Annual Registration Fee $30.00 per child due in August each year
Staff Child Care $25.00/day
School age (K+) Staff Discount
- After School $9.00/day $6.00/day
- Full Days $22.00/day $14.50/day
3 & 4 Year Old
- ½ Day (less than 5 ½ hours) $15.00/day $10.00/day
- Full Day (more than 5 ½ hours) $22.00/day $14.50/day
Family Discount $1.00 per day per each additional child.
